Time to go sleep, quickly a last picture, a last smile, and it was time to go.
At the end we had to pay our bill, I must say this show is not cheap. First there was the entrance fee , but ten there was also a cover charge we had to pay. And that we did not know . . .
So I think the hole evening costed me about 50 US$.

I believe that it can’t be easy to dance witch such a big hat made of colorful feathers on your head. Of course these dancers are used to do it, so they managed well. It was a fine spectacle.

This group represented the region of the Central Vallies.
The beautiful tuft of feathers of different colors, characterizes the dancer of the Valley of Oaxaca that magisterially interprets the unique "feather dance", that represents some historic passages of Mexico’s Conquest that is said by the Zapotec Indians of Cuilapan, Zaachila, Teotitlan Del Valle, Saint Thomas Jalieza, Zimatlan and many more towns.

There is a great atmosphere, and you can also see the joy on the faces of the dancers, they are enjoying the dancing. And so did we . . .

This Casa de Cantera is also a restaurant where you can eat a delicious meal before the dances start.
In this Casa you can see the Donaji Princes Dancing Group performing the traditional ‘Oaxaca Guelaguetza” which means mutual help among its settlers.
The picture shows a dance from the Mixteca region. In this region the Dominic Constructions can be admired in Yanhuitlan, Coixtlahuaca and Teposcolula. Also its variety in Palm articles and typical clothing made with a waist frame outstanding for its beauty.

We had a wonderful evening when we visited El Casa de Cantera in Oaxaca. We did see all kind of traditional dances of different regions around Oaxaca.
This lady represesents the region of The Cañada. This region is formed by the districts of Cuicatlan and Teotitlan del Camino, in this last one is located the Mazateca Indian City of Huautla De Jiminez.

Well every show has an end. And this show ended with the feather dance. What a pity, but we had a fine night, filled with good food, beautiful dances, colorful dresses and great music.
