    Nichupte Lagoon - surrounding buildings

Favorite thing: I was staying at the Royal Sunset hotel (@ my accomodation tips), which is a "brother" hotel of the Sunset Lagoon. To go from one hotel to the other there's a little boat that goes back and forth more or less every hour between the Royal Sunset (you have to walk across the avenue in order to get to the side of the lagoon) and the Sunset Lagoon. This latter does NOT have access to the ocean, only to the Nichupte Lagoon.

Fondest memory: The picture you're looking at is the nice view I had from the boat while crossing the lagoon from one hotel to the other... The Nichupte Lagoon is surrounded by some very nice hotels and villas, and you can also see some people sailing on the lagoon, or even kayaking...

    LAGOON MEETS THE SEA

Favorite thing: The heart of Cancun is El Centro.Thousands of people go here to see the shops, markets and boutiques and sample the restaurants and exotic drinks.Cancun has the second largest barrier reef in the world and i found the snorkeling amazing.

Fondest memory: Here is where the lagoon meets the sea and hotels run along the crystal clear Caribbean sea.
