Favorite thing: after an impressive Mexican folklore dance demonstrations at the theater in the afternoon the high point of any Xcaret visit is the Xcaret's Grand Night Performances for all your senses. An epic celebration with the sights and sounds of a grand festival set in Mexico's golden years, the splendor of Mayan kings, the drama of the Ball Game and the ball of fire in the impressive Taxli Ball Court, followed by an unforgetable gala performance of Mexico's regional music and dance. Over 200 performers in an incredible pageant of colourm sight and sound.

Favorite thing: upon arriving at Xcaret, many head straight for the underground rivers, for which Xcaret is especially well-known. Comprised of limestone, the entire Yucatan Peninsula is webbed with a subterranean system of freshwater arteries. Xcaret provides the opportunity to float down two different sections, in order to see and experience this natural phenomenon for yourself. Each is 1650 ft. long, has intermittent exits, and flows an average of 17ft below ground level.

Favorite thing: A wild bird Aviary lies just inside the entrance of Xcaret, where more than thirteen tropical, plumed species have been successfully bred. Many of the 44 species here are caged, but the ocellated turkeys, pelicans and ducks
roam free
