l went here a couple of times and the party was always very lively. The best part was the congo lines of tequila even if it was pretty watered down and you can't forget the yard glasses. Overall very lively crowd with something always going on the stage, even went up there a few times myself.

Senor Frogs is a restaurant-bar that offers a unique dining and partying experience.
A casual and fun atmosphere with nightly live entertainment, M.C's, karaoke and D.J.'s playing oldies, hip-hop and rock' n roll hits. Waiters turn into performers, you never know what to expect here....dine in balloon hats, enter dancing and drinking contests on stagfe, but beware, you may end up going down their waterslide.
Dress Code: Wear whatever. No dress requirements.
Senor Frogs is a really neat place to go for a nightlife. David and I went the second night on a club hopping trip and had a blast. The club can hold about 1,000 or so people and features all kinds of stuff ranging from live music, to DJs, contests and karaoke. The bar like most other ones in Cancun closes at 3am. This club is really popular with the younger people between the ages of like 18 and 30. This is not to say that older people would not enjoy themselves, it is just that this club caters to a younger generation of music. It is not as crowded as Coco Bongo which is also an added bonus. Senor Frogs also has a water slide which leads from the venue out to the lagoon. This is a really neat thing when it is open for use. When David and I were there people were using the slide and it was just crazy. It looked like alot of fun, but I didn't try it. Cover charge at Senor Frogs is $5 after 8pm and includes a souvenir yard glass. You have to pay to have it filled up with whatever you choose. The cool thing for David and I was that our resort included a free cover charge to get in. Many of the All Inclusive hotels offer free cover with their wristbands so look out for that.
Dress Code: Again typical nightclub dress.
I had a blast there! $25 got us our big cups and away we were at unlimited drinks. The music was great, they had a live MC hyping up the crowd. The atmosphere was really good, the bartenders good and quick. This place also has an outside deck that stretches across the back of the club. There is a slide that takes you to a fenced off part of the lagoon. Those who disobey the MC and don't drink fast enough or party enough are forced down the slide. The bathrooms upstairs also have a henna "tattoo" artist in case you feel creative and want to decorate yourself. I had a blast at this place! I also managed to meet Steve from the Jerry Springer Show as well as his whole possee of security guard buddies and Jerry's son. Gotta love Senor Frog's!
Dress Code: Anything Goes
The restaurant opens at midday and continues through until midnight serving international type food such as pizza, pasta, steak, chicken and of course Mexican dishes such as fajitas and enchiladas. The restaurant at Senor Frogs has capacity for up to 300 customers. During the evening the venue has capacity for up to 1500 people with daily live music, DJs, contests and karaoke the bar closes at 3am. Popular with the younger crowd it's always busy during Spring and Summer break. Senor Frogs also has a water slide which leads from the venue out to the lagoon, this is not always open though.
This is one of the oldest nightclubs, and supposedly the first stop for americans on their spring break. In daytime it's a restaurant, and in the night it's a popular partyspot. The waiters do the best to entertain, and so do many of the guests too... ;) Plenty of contests and dMany of the All Inclusive resorts offers free entrance to this place.
Okay, this is a fun place. Live music and the crowd is always involved. This place, like many, doesn't get going until after 10:00, so make sure you take a good siesta. I haven't eaten there, however, any one who has says it is pretty good.
Check to see if they are up and running again. The last picture I saw of this place it was in the lagoon.
Dress Code: Casual.
Now here's a fun, unpretentious place to spend a night in Cancun. Senor Frogs has a bit of everything - two bars, dancing, audience participation, great special effects. And did I mention the two bars? It really does everything that Margaritaville does, only in a much bigger way. And it's probably not a great place for the kids, especally at night. Join the conga line - you'll get free shots! And a free shot glass too.
I really enjoyed my night at Senor Frogs. There was a good reggae band playing there the night I was, and there's always something going on in between sets. Oh, and the best part: no cover charge!
Senor Frogs is definitely a must-do while in Cancun. Highly recommended.
Dress Code: Totally casual.
My friend and I went to Senor Frogs - knowing that it would be a party place for the 18 - 25 year old crowd - but had to go anyways. As expected, you walk in and get your yard glass for beer. Drinks were expensive, the place was packed, and music was playing.
If you want to blow off some steam and get drunk - this is the place to go. If you are looking for quality above quantity - then I would suggest somewhere else. ANYWHERE else.
Dress Code: As long as you have flip flops, tshirt and shorts - you are fine. You will probably get spilled on.
On our first night in Cancun, we celebrated at Senor Frogs. The night we were there, M TV was there hosting some show. The place was wild and crowded so we ended up standing/dancing ON one of the bars! If you like a crowd you'll love this place!!!
There's also a long tube (looks like a hamster cage tunnel) slide inside of the bar. M TV was getting volunteers to slide down it into the bay outside (you can see where it comes out from the deck/patio). The catch is you had to go down with a bag full of hotdog buns (why? I don't know) swim back and eat them all ....even soggy! For this each guy that did it received 50 USD. How silly right?
It was a fun and wild evening. I don't know what the place is like when M TV is not there, but this night was crazy!!!!
Dress Code: I am pretty sure there is NO dress code! *grin*
During the day, you can grab a meal there but later at night it turns into a danceclub where the staff join in on the festivities. Definite place to go while your in Cancun. Looks like a fun place to work as well. Giant dancing frog may appear at anytime. Don't fall for the large beer glass called the "Yard". It is $10 US to get and fill but it only holds 2 beer even though people think it is more. You do get to keep it if you can pack it in your bag.
Dress Code: Again pretty casual. Anything goes.
Pretty kewl place with great food and classic cocktails, make sure you tip! Waiter gave me a dirty look because I didn't tip him, but I completely forgot, so the next day I went up and gave him a tip 'STOP GIVING ME EVILS!' hehe! nah not really gave him $10 dollars as he was really nice and friendly!!! A restaurant by day and party atmosphere at night, Senor Frog's Restaurant and Bar in Cancun is one of the most popular spots for those on vacation in the area. When the sun sets, put on your dancing shoes and get ready to spend the evening with 1500 of your closest friends. And don't worry if you haven't met everyone, you will before the night's over.
With daily live music, DJs, contests and karaoke, this bar is always going until the early morning hours. And if that's not enough, there's even a water slide that leads from the venue out to the lagoon. So don't forget your bathing suit.
Dress Code: sssooooo formal! YEAH RITE!! Nah, it's just whatever you want, not your birthday suit though, thats illegal...i think?!
Senor Frogs is great because of its atmosphere and decor. There are wood shavings all over the floor, all different types of signs and quotes filling up wall space, and an old VW Beetle on the ceiling. They sell you those huge yard glasses that you fill up as much as you want and people with whistles walk around trying to sell you shots of sweet liquor. There is also a place out back where you can get some fresh air, rest your ears, and sit at the tables on the dock overlooking the water as you continue to get wasted.
Dress Code: In some cases it seems like the skimpier the better. But to be fair, it does get hot with all that dancing and all those people. I say if you wear a bathing suit to a bar/club, put on a skirt too.
There's a hopping nightlife, but it's geared towards the Spring Break crowd. If you like that stuff, you'll love this place. Crazy restaurants like Senor Frog's and Carlos & Charlie's boast the huge drinks and loud music rather than food. Hotel discos and clubs are everywhere and were pretty packed even during off season.
