  • Bring lots of sunscreen, it may not feel like you are getting much sun when you are laying out on the beach but you will be surprised.

    5 days 1 bag each,Spent lots of time on beach and pools,Clubbing at night shorts and ccasual shirts were plenty

    Uhh - a bathing suit, a few things to wear out at night, and that's about it! Cancun is especially warm during the summer months, so be prepared.

    You may want to consider packing a small umbrella since the sun can be shining...then the next thing you know you are cought in a thunderstorm.

  • I can't stress this enough: BRING SUNSCREEN and lots of it! It's very expensive to buy down there, and if you're not naturally dark-skinned you're going to need it. Even if it's waterproof, you still want to continuously reapply to avoid a nasty sunburn. The sun is extremely strong.

    You can get pesos at any ATM, but I was surprised to find out that almost everywhere we went accepts US dollars. Guess we only went to touristy spots! Oh well.

  • Every room has a coffee maker, so no need to bring a kettle with you for that early morning drink!

  • Please bring your own drinking water or buy bottled water, they could not stress this enough to us, because they said water there will make you extremely sick.
