Booze Cruise, Cancún

Cancun offers all kinds of watersports and there are agencies all over that can sell you almost anything you want. You can go on a partyboat where you are out all day; drinking, partying and swimming.

You can hire different kinds of boats, canoes, kayaks, jetskis or whatever you want. They also offer trips to the jungel, mangroves, Isla Mujeres and snorkelling. Or you can do parachuting or almost any kind of watersport. If you want it, Cancun has it... ;)

Along the beach you can do many things. One of them was this bungee thing that my friends did. I would not do it! I am deathly afraid of heights!

There is also the Booze Cruises that people take that we did not. Only because we heard that it is not worth it. I am still hearing that!

This cruise is great for all those Rum drinkers out there. They serve either Rum and Coke or Rum and Punch and there is no smoking on the boat. The boat is multi-level and swayed a little bit, enhancing the drunkness. There are several bars, a dj and dance floor and lots of young, drunk people to talk to.

The boat brings you to an island where people continue to get to know each other and eat fajitas. Then they continue getting drunk and sit in a circle on benches/bleachers and people with microphones come into the middle asking for volunteers.

People do things from exchanging bathing suits with strangers to doing stripteases to get the crowd excited. I even got drunk enough to get up there at one point.

Everyone has a drunken good time and goes back to their hotels hoping no one remembers anything in the morning.

the booze cruise was one of the things i looked forward in cancun. it was a great way to start off our vacation bec there was lots of drinking, eating and dancing. the show was great bec you get to hear a lot of mexican music and learn how to dance as well.

the cruise starts off fr fat tuesdays along hotel zone which is where everyone meets. then you all board a boat for an hour ride to isla mujeres. the drinks are plentiful and people dance (more like, sway esp if the waters are rough). on the island theres more drinks, buffet dinner is served (you can eat as much as you can) and a show caps of the night with lots of dancing and more drinking. the partying doesnt stop until you get back to cancun.

bring lots of singles for tips to your hosts who amazingly have so much energy! the drinks arent that strong (particularly the frozen drinks which is what they mostly hand out) but if you drink enough, you'll get a good buzz. overall, the atmosphere was very festive and everyone was in good spirits. children are allowed (except singles night) but they probly wont enjoy as much.

The locals that take you out make sure you get drunk and have a good time.. if i wasn't for the italians we met, i would have had a rough ride back to the hotel.
