There is horseback riding available, outside the Club Med. This is what I did on my first full day at the club, and it was so much fun!
First we were given a horse, and then we rode, as a group, for about an hour, to the end of a nearby beach. Once at the beach, we all dismounted, and they took the saddles off a few of the horses, and led them in to the water. Those of us that wanted to swim with (on) the horses were given a chance to do so. Yeah!
For the most part, as with many trail rides, the horses walked. However, as we started heading back to the stables, those of us that wanted to gallop were allowed to do so for about half a mile. What fun it was...
This club med has, on premises, snorkeling, tennis, water skiing and wind surfing. I, personally, love snorkeling, so I spent plenty of time at the snorkel shack, and above the reef. Actually, there are some nice tunnels in the reef too, so I spent some time swimming THROUGH those. :) On one swim, I kept a close eye on a baraccuda that seemed intent on staying close by.
