Felipe Carrillo Puerto Travel Guide

I came to this town to see one thing, the Sagrada Cruz del Palmante. This is a Mayan temple-church build to honor a Mayan god. It was of up most importance during the Guerra de las Castas. The name back then was Chan Santa Cruz. Unfortunately, little remains on that original temple.

There is an early bus out of Valladolid that goes to Tihosuco. From Tihosuco, one can grab a collectivo to Felipe Carrillo Puerto.
