    As of January 2006 climbing is no longer allowed at Chichen Itza. The Castle, the warriors temple and the high priest temples are all closed.     you should consider going to Playa del Carmen. Playa del Carmen is just 45 minutes south of Cancun and a 40-min ferry ride to Cozumel. It's got a great nightlife lasting as late as you wish.     The best time to go is between Oct-March because it is not so hot and humid.Between April-Sept there is a risk of hurricane and rain.I found the weather perfect when i went,not too hot,just right and not humid in the evenings.     While walking through the butterfly exhibit at Xcaret, we came across a pond full of lillies. as we walked by, we noticed this one flower growing out from one of the lillies right in the middle! It was so beautiful, we had to take a picture of it!You will find many types of flowers and other types of plant life throughout the park.
