Sometimes, a friendly man will approach to assist you after arriving from the customs area of the airport - wanting to help. Once you talk to him, he will lead you to another agent who will try so sell your tickets to Excaret (the Disneyland of Cancun) with large 80% discounts.

First, these agents will ask where you are staying - I think they based the kind of sale where you stay - if they know you are staying in an expensive hotel, they will make salescalls abit more convincing... timeshares and condo units....

If you are staying in a 2 star hotel, they will sell you a tour...

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: sunscreen (hot and humid) or tanning oils (if you want to get a nice tan)

Photo Equipment: waterproof camera

Miscellaneous: Children - floating devices. It was $10/day to rent a floating bed in our hotel
