Clean. Good service. Accepts credit cards. Setting is along shore next to dive shop and swimming pool. Screened in, so you get the nice sea breeze.
Grouper sandwich is outstanding. Served with fries. We also had quesadillas and Coke. La Morena offers a wide range of traditional Mexican dishes as well as a long list of fresh seafood specialties including coconut shrimp/fish, ceviche, lobster in garlic and butter, and some darn good coconut ice cream. Bar drinks area reasonably priced and their Margaritas are a bit higher, but are made from scratch and pack a real punch.
The lobster in garlic and butter was to die for. Leave a Comment Theme: MexicanPrice: US$21-30 » Currency ConverterComparison: more expensive than averageAddress: Avenida 10 between Calles 3 and 5Phone: 879-1923Other Contact: English Spoken

Everyone liked the food here. I had decent fish ceviche. The waiter was n ice and gave us extra bread to throw to the fish while some of our friends snorkeled below. I have visited Cozumel 3 times over the past several years and each time I try to stop for lunch at Pancho's Backyard. The food's good, friendly staff and a great place to regroup after walking and shopping. Ceiling fans, fountains and sometime live music add to the experience. Depending on the time you go, it gets pretty crowded, but the service is good and the food comes fairly quickly (not fastfood). So far I haven't felt rushed while eating though.
I usually go with recommendations from the waiters which are the sampler platters. Leave a Comment

This restaurant is bursting with charm. If asked, sit in the patio "backyard" and listen to the mariachi band play as you sip on mango margaritas. The guacamole and salsa could almost be a meal in itself, it's that good. I ordered chicken taquitos, which were also very yummy. I searched at long length for a restaurant for lunch and I was very happy with Pancho's. :)
