Coba & Tulum
shizzler Says:
You can do either place as a half day excursion or both in one day. We did Coba first in the morning. Coba is only suitable for those with reasonable mobility as a long walk through the Forrest and around the ancient Mayan ruins takes it out of you. It's also very humid and...

alyf1961 Says:
Bike hire at the Catalonia hotel was free. It was years since I had been on a bike. However, it was as they say, “Like riding a bike” and it did not take me long to get back into the saddle. We rode down to Puerto Aventuras where there was a bike park. Had a look at the...
SWIM WITH DOLPHINS
alyf1961 Says:
We swam with dolphins at Puerto Aventuras. This was a fantastic experience. The dolphins are quite fragile and have to be touched gently. They feel so soft. It lasted about an hour and a half with a video being shown before we went into the water.

Coco Bongos: Best night out ever
shizzler Says:
Coco Bongos is the most amazing night out ever. I stayed at the catalonia Riviera Maya resort and it cost about £90-100 for 2 of us to get VIP tickets to go to Coco Bongos and we recommend the VIP as the non VIP tickets save you about £15 each but you'll be crambed in the...

The Weather!
Helpfulness
kentishgirl 1390 reviews
Whilst we were here during the month of September, the weather could change at any second! To be honest, the conditions didd'nt bother me, because the rain and coolness that it bought with it just helped clear the air.
You can see the black clouds working their way across to you! When it rained it was'nt cold either so after a couple of days we were sick of running in! And so just stayed in the pool!

MEXICAN WILDLIFE
alyf1961 Says:
We saw lots of Lizards whilst we were in Mexico. Some of them were quite large. The large ones would sun themselves on the grass as you walked past. There were also lots of tiny ones but they would dart away when you got near them. We also saw a Coati, which is a raccoon...
