While I was in Cozumel before Christmas in 2007, I decided to do my Christmas shopping. This store would mail things to people that I wanted to get presents for. Even though they were one of the cruise line's recommended stores, I thought they had nice things at a reasonable price.
What to buy: A review site says: Bargain hunters and souvenir collectors consider this popular tourist shop a real find. Inside shoppers can expect to find a variety of Mexican knick-knacks, handicrafts as well as art created by artists who live on the island. The selection is good and t he prices reasonable for most items. The only drawback is the crowds, especially when the cruise ships are in port. If you want to shop in leisure don't come on Wednesday afternoons when the cruise ship come into port
The best shops in all of Cozumel featuring top-of-the-line jewelry, crystal, clothing, fragrances, souvenirs, and more are located along Avenida Rafael Melgar. This is the waterfront road in San Miguel.
Most shops are open from Monday through Saturday 9am-9pm.
What to buy: Cozumel is the leading port in Mexico for jewelry. There are all kinds of bargains on precious stones, diamonds, tanzanites, gold, and silver.
Liquor is also good to buy here.
My granddaughter heard about this store in the port talk and wanted to come here. This is a store which is in almost every port that cruise ships go to, and also they have a website for sales. Everything in this store is made of bamboo. It is very soft and comfortable - cool in the summer and warm in the winter. I can testify that it is soft
I charged some stuff which is going to my house and then I wanted to send some stuff to Beth and that time the card was refused. So I spent a lot of time on the phone to the credit union to get the card to work again. Which eventually it did.
What to buy: Sheets, towels, blankets, shirts, socks
What to pay: King bed sheets are $199.00
A throw is $119.00
