Tulum is a nice place, and it is definitely worth visiting for its historical architecture and landscaping as much as breathtaking beach views. But there is one more reason to visit Tulum.
    THE DRAGONS.
Well, maybe lizards or iguanas, or whatever the proper name is.
They are everywhere, taking place of Mayan kings.
Some of them are really huge and majestic, some of them are smaller and playful.
You could definitely spend all day feeding them with flowers and watching them play or just sit majestically on the top of the ruins.

    Lori & Iguana

There are many Iguanas here in Ruinas Tulum and everywhere in Mexico hehe
We seen so many ,they just pop up out of their holes ,they are definitely not afraid of humans and they seem to enjoy us looking at them ,at least that was my experience .
BTW in case you don't see the Iguana he/she is one centimeter left of Lori's bag (in the picture that is ) .
I am going to make an Iguana travelogue ,they look sooo Cool.

    Tulum iguana

Although they are probably all over the grounds, this little fella is the only iguana I spotted. He seemed to enjoy posing for photos.
