We were walking along a path and suddenly came upon a clearing where there was a show going on. Somehow or other the wooden disk spins around the pole and feeds out the ropes that are attached to the ankles of each man. As the rope feeds out the men get closer and closer to the ground. The centrifical force swings them in a pretty big circle also. There was more to the act but I can't remember at this time.

Xcaret is not exactly a good beach, but it is a wonderful place to swim. Protected and safe, it seems a natural pool surrounded by history and amusement.
