5 palms: the best in town
This is about carne here. Meat, meat, meat and seafood. There is one chicken dish on the menu that doesn't ever get ordered here.
This is also an oyster bar, sports in the upscale bar and a good bar selection with some good wines
Favorite Dish: my pilots loved the filets.
I liked the tomotoe soup with pine nuts
Obregón Tourist Traps
Mr. Steak is touted all over the ads as the best place in town. The building is big and looks like a lodge inside and out. Every hotel tells you to go there. We looked forward to going.
They told us that they had a nice wine cellar that you could pick your wine.
Well, the wine cellar nice to look at, but nothing in it all worth while. We would have better off with a two buck chuck.
The filets were covered with a gravy and were small and very flat. Tasteless after you scraped off all the gravy. My chicken was so tough.
Fun Alternatives: The Spanish place next to 5 palms and of course 5 palms. Same prices and better service and of course much better FOOD.
