I don't regret driving since I had the freedom to choose when & where I would go but the road from Matehuala to Real de Catorce was a little tough for my low Honda Accord. The road was cobblestone so it was bumpy. Take plenty of small change for kids selling this or that, the $10 crossing at the Ogarrio Tunnel, or the gorditas sold on the street - no one ever seems to have change so that just means I don't make the purchase!
