The New Casa Country is located aproximately 1/2 mile north of where the old one was located. The reason they changed location was because the old restaurant was not large enough for the volume of people wanting to eat there. It's a popular spot to have a good meal & watch the entertaining floor show.
Favorite Dish: I always try their chicken enchelatas, I have decided years ago that they make the best ones in town.
Other people say that their ribs are great. Actually, most of their dishes are excellent. You,ll have to try for yourselves.
The restaurant is a fun place to be - very loud, with country western dining if that's what you're looking for. Food was fine, slightly above average. The disappointing part of the experience was that after we got home, our credit card company's fraud department called us about unauthorized spending in Mexico. Since we had only used our credit card once - and that was to pay for the dinner at Casa Country, and all the fraudulent charges occurred the day after the dinner, it was pretty apparent that someone at Casa Country had stolen our number and used it fraudulently. We have travelled all over the world and this was the first time it has happened to us. Be careful!
One of our favorite restaurants is Casa Country which is located on the north end of the Golden Zone. The food is very good & you are given big portions (you do not leave hungry).
All of the waiters are also part of the floor show. they are all very good dancers and seem to really enjoy their work.
Favorite Dish: After checking all over Mazatlan, I find that Casa Country has the best Chicken Anchiladas.
It sets a high standard for food, service and fun within a country atmosphere and takes that extra step. Entertainment includes: waiters' line dancing and a Mexican floor show, satellite sports on multi TV's , singing waiters, special days acknowledgement (anniversary, birthdays, etc.) and Luis's magic trick. Good food and great fun! Probably the best all round package!!!
