The people of Mexico are the absolute nicest, most generous people in the world. If you have the pleasure of making friends with some of them you will no doubt have a friend for life. This picture is the extended family of my father's friend, John at their home in Santana. Pops and John are on the left.
Women have a strong status in Mexican culture and they work just as hard as the men. As a young child from the US, I didn't realize how spoiled I was until seeing daily life in a developing country.

My brother became close friends with a super sweet kid named Hugo (left). Only an amazing experience like this one could make you remember the name of a little boy you met 21 years ago.
