Enjoy eating and drinking listening to a live mariachi. These places are one of the most populars in town and you gotta visit them as they are next to the other. They are visited by many famous people whom you can see their pictures in a wall. Chances are you are invited to sing along with the mariachis!!!

Convenient location, popular hang-out, a place you can eat tacos and have 'light' food at the same time . . .
Favorite Dish: Tacos served in big lettuce leaves (hence, the 'light' label) a Light (lechiga y carne asada) costs 12.00 pesos and an Ultra Light (Lechuga y filete de pavo) costs 12.00 also.

DON'T you miss the chance to try one of north's specialities!!!! This place is owned by one of my grandmother's friend and I've been there several times. If you haven't eaten roasted meat tacos, you haven't been in Hermosillo!!!

You not only find tacos in Mexico City but in Hermosillo too, so there are a lot of street stands selling the famous Tacos Fish. Basically it's a shrimp taco and you can put whatever you want to it like lettuce, mayonaise, etc. Very tasty, very cheap, very Hermosillo!!

Each time I go to Hermosillo, I have to stop by in Antojeria El Centro. It's a perfect place to eat or have a coffee and also I like its decoration. It's a popular restaurant between the upper class people in town.

Most people eat standing up, inches from the traffic passing by on Kino Blvd. There are two plastic tables with plastic chairs. A small radio hangs from a telephone pole and lets you hear a local station. A pick-up truck serves as the prep kitchen.
Favorite Dish: After a few months of cowardly taco-only visits, I started ordering other stuff -- like lorencas and caramelos. I am still not a fan of the onions (which many like) but horchata grows on you.

This is my favorit restaurant, delicious dishes, good service and nice place.
Favorite Dish: Are many dishes that I like, tortilla soup, green hot pepeer soup, baby mickey (beef) and the delicious little breads with cheese inside and hot sauce with "totopos" (chips) gift from the house...

Fairly nice place with outdoor/courtyard seating. One of the few Italian restaurants in town.
Favorite Dish: Combinacion Pasta Especial (lasagna a la Bolognesa, Fettucini Alfredo y Espagueti al Pesto) - a sampling of three different pastas for those of us who can't make up our minds. Cost: 78 pesos
