Getting Around Estado de Tamaulipas

Well, although I have been there only once, I walked across the International Bridge in Laredo, Texas. I found it to be the best method. To make it even better, a Mexican co-worker told me you can go anywhere in Mexico by bus for about 6 dollars. If you drive, you have to photocopy all this documentation, buy Mexican insurance, AND to make matters WORSE, if you drive in Mexico, get in an accident, it is a CRIMINAL OFFENSE!! That's right. One fender-bender will send you to the Mexican Pokey. I don't know about you, but the choice is pretty obvious. Next time I go, Walk and Bus. Period.
