One of the only real bar in Mexico with an tremendous feeling. Excellent crowd, good culture and open minded, no "fresa" attitude", excellent music, and good bar! Be careful, you could become addicted to this place as we all have been... The Milan gets very busy and you can't get out of that place without having met someone new, but don't say anything, it is a best kept secret spot in Mexico City... Casual, everything accepted in a fun place!
When you go to mexico go to at least one cheep bar, get drunk, then get robbed. It is one of the experiances you can't get anywayre else. Especially when you get back to the states and find out you have a STD, ahhh.. the memories. Not much.
One of the most beautiful events that evening in Oaxaca was the dance of the men with the feathered hats. It looked quiet difficult to dance with such a big hat on your head. This was one of the highlights of the evening. No dress code

Kaluha Bar, Mogombo, The Zoo and Carlos O'Brians, all have something different to offer. Kaluha for example offers dancing with a DJ (Rap, R/B, Latin, Soca, International). Mogombo (R/B, Latin), Carlos O'Brians (good food, but best left for the teeny boppers) and the same with The Zoo. Casual...it's Mexico!!!
On this Plaza there were small groups of Mariachis, but there were also few big groups, and mostly they were playing for lots of people. Like that people started dancing just outside on the Plaza. It was great to see and to hear. No Dress Code
Plaza Garibaldi : this is the Mecca of the Mariachis.If you are searching for feelings like sentiment, trumpet, violin, guitar, tequila, marimba, you can find it here.Many, many Mariachi-groups are waiting here to play their songs; they can play anything from the saddest song till the must pleasant one. Till deep in the night these Mariachis play and sing every tear-jerker, every thing what you want.You pay, they play, that is the way it goes.(More info on my Mexico City page) No dress code, may be just a sweater because at night it can be a bit chilly.
Ave. Revolucion in Tijuana is jammed packed with clubs and bars.Papas & Beer is big in RosaritoHussong's is big in Ensenada.All three of these Baja cities have more clubs than restaurants so finding something fun to do at night will be the least of your problems.
Ixtapa has great nightlife, the best clubs were probably Senor Frog's or Carlos O'Brians if you're looking for people. Christine's or Millenium if you want the place to look good. And Bandillo's if you want to get a great orange flavored drink that'll get you HAMMERED. We never got bothered with a dress code, although you should always bring ID with you (We got carded trying to get into the Zoo in downtown Puerto Vallarta) and dress nicely anyways (unless you're going to Senor Frog's, then it doesn't matter). Remember to ask if there's a cover charge before going to the club. And boys and girls don't pay the same cover price so inform yourselves.
Valentino's, Bora Bora, Joe's, et. al.At Valentino's there are three different night clubs/discos. Drink specials are all you can drink for $15.00 US. It is pretty much a college crowd. It can get a bit rowdy. Anyting...Anyting?..Anyting you want!Shorts, sandles, nice clothes, street clothes, little clothes, whatever.
