Every good mexican resteraunt has Arrachera: The Arrachera is the best meat in Mexico!

by biljah

Arrachera is almost like fajita meat but it is cut differnetly and has a far juicier taste. The meat almost melts in your mouth. I highly recomend trying this meat in tacos or even better as a dinner plate. The way it's cooked makes all the differance in the world. You can pay 5 dollers for some sliced up Arachera in a taco, But when you pay over 10 dollers for a good piece it's a million times better.

The Lobster House: Puerto Nuevo-The best LOBSTER spot!

by anaisdreams

The Lobster House. It's the only major restaurant on the dirt street closest to the ocean, and the upper deck here has the only unobstructed, 180-degree ocean view in the village. On a warm, sunny day, this is a splendid place to be. On windy, cool days opt for the first-floor dining room. With almost the same menu as La Casa de Langosta (and the same ownership), this restaurant usually charges $1.50 to $2 less per meal for the same size portions. The Lobster House is relatively new and has been building business with competitive pricing. Can you believe $30 for the extra-large "burro" lobster, which can weigh up to four pounds?or $10 SHRIMP - ALL YOU CAN EAT?This is a place to sip margaritas and eat as much fresh lobster and seafood as you can!

Stop at a Taco Stand!!

by taryn21

When in Puerto Vallarta, you see these little taco stands on the sides of the streets. They don't look like much, but the tacos are absolutely amazing!! Fresh deep-fried fish in a taco with all the topping, for a dollar. How can you go wrong?!?

La Palapa: My Favorite Restaurant in Puerto Vallarta...

by tcapps5961

Located on the beach in Playa los Muertos, This has to be about the best restaurant I've found in PV. The atmosphere, being located right on the beach, is fantastic. The food is international leaning toward Mexican. The quality of food and service rank right at the top of the list! I've never had a meal there that wasn't excellent. Serving breakfast lunch and dinner. Outdoor seating. Ask for "Rampa" as your waiter. He's worked there 30 years and will take great care of you! Live entertainment in the evenings.***** Fresh seafood

Tortilla

by nepalgoods

Tortilla is the food mexican people live of. They eat Totillas with every meal. You can find it even in the soup!Totillas are plain round flat loafs and can be eaten like bread and as a sidedish. Vegetables or meat can be wrapped in Toritllas.

Restaurant Express: Lime Soup

by kxner

The location couldn't be better ... right on the square. The food is inexpensive and tasty. Plus, there's an Internet Cafe upstairs. The Lime Soup!! Everything was good, but we came back time and again for this soup.

Sanborns: Sanborns

by shdw100

This depends. If you want good Mexican food, I would recommend any cafe or small family place. If you want more middle class, then Sanborn's would be the restaurant of choice. It has good variety and not very pricey. There are a lot of Sanborn's located in Mexico City and throughout the country. Mole, of course!

Senior Frogs: Good Food, Good Entertainment

by DrewE

Senior Frogs is a popular chain of restaurants in Mexico. It is a bit expensive to eat there but the food is good and the entertainment is wild. If you like a quite dinner I probably wouldn't recommend Senior Frogs especially after around 10:30. Things start to pick up after that and it kind of turns into a night club. So if you are looking for somewhere to go at night I would recommend Senior Frogs for that also.

Make that all . . .: Most should be avoided

by RandomLion

HA HAOK it's not so much the taste it's the after effects -- I dunno they need spring water to clean things down there -- bacterial infaction is RAMPANT. Im not saying the bigger restaurants aren;t good -- remember I am talking strictly about Tiajuana here.
