  • For restaurants, it is difficult but lets pass on that and say that I loved Dunkin Donuts.
Well you will find them everywhere, and they do over 80 different types of donuts with different fillings. I put on over 16 lbs on one trip alone :-)

Boston creames Ohhhh!! to die for !!!!!!!!!!!

  • There are lots. These can change in quality obviously. The themed restaurants in EPCOT center, Florida are great fun. Having breakfast with the Dinosaurs was something else. Califnornia cuisine at Windows on the World, World trade Center , NYC was knockout. Try breakfast at Plaza Hotel NYC, Edwardian room too.
Ambience at Windows on the World. They make u feel a bigshot without being snobby , live piano music ..something else

I love ribs ! Also like Pecan pie.

  • Tip Rating:
  • The brewery on the old logging camp located close to Whitefish Point in Upper Michigan. Near the Taquaminaun falls!!!!! yum yum!!! Get the Whitefish (baked or breaded)and a cold beverage and take your time and enjoy.
Old Town is quite unique in it's charm, best to park and walk. Take your sweet old time there's lots to see.

Breaded Oysters and salad with wild blueberry vinegrette at F and 1st streets at the 'Oyster Bar' in Eureka,California,go for lunch so you can shop afterwards in 'old town'.You might want to take the Harbour cruise (might see a harbour seal)at 12:30pm and catch lunch afterwards. All this is very resonable and was the perfect day!

    Morocco: Morocco
  • Tip Rating:
  • This is quite a culturaly authintic restraunt. You sit on elevated mats while you eat authintic Moroccan food. The workers are also Moroccan. The evening is topped off with Moroccan dancers and mint tea. This restraunt is also Ale Gore's favorite.

  • Tip Rating:
  • Again, I find it difficult to decide. I do like pub grub, and you will find plenty of Pubs dotted around the city. If i was to pick a restaurant, for reasonable pricing and good food, it would be The Lone Star, on Front Street, across from the Westen Hotel. It's kistchy tex mex, but the fajitas are to die for.
Two of you can get abasolutely stuffed for under $30.00. And yes, that does include a beer or two.

The free chips and salsa to start, and for dinner,FAJITAS! with extra guacamole, jalapenos on the side and lots of hot sauce.

  • Well, I have a few, lol!!! Chili's, Friday's, Red Lobster, Golden Corral, The Outback, Uncle Hulios, to name a few!!!
I like these restaurants because the food is delicious, the service, usually good and the price fair

Well depends on the mood I'm in ... Friday's it's always Jack Daniels something, ribs, salmon, chiken or all of the above, Red Lobster, but of course, red lobster, shrimp and crabs, and the works!!!, Gold Corral is a Buffet so a little of this and a little of that they have EVERYTHING AND IT ALL TASTES GREAT!!! The Outback, hot wings or steaks with the blooming onion, Uncle Hulios - the combination fajita, with the steak, chicken and shrimp, delicious!!!

    My favorite restaurant is...
  • Tip Rating:
  • My favorite restaurant is ...boy that's a hard one! I would have to pick...no, no it's too hard. I like Casa Rio and Rio Rio in San Antonio. There's a little place on I-10 in Orange Texas(between the Lousiana state line and Houston) called The Cajun Cookery that has a glutunous buffet on the weekend. BBQ crab! It's a great place to stop if you're traveling Interstate 10.
I quess I like the ambiance of the restaurants on the Riverwalk in San Antonio. It's so romantic-espcially in the evening. Dining by candlelight by a slow moving river while gondolas slide by with their passengers...it's like a combination of Venice, Paris, and Mexico City. It's great for people watching. Or popping the question. Spanish quitars and Texas stars. Yes, it's one of my favorite places!

Casa Rio order the combination plate and enjoy guacamole made fresh at your table.
Rio Rio order the fajitas and be prepared to take some home. The servings are large.
Make sure you get a table outside!
For the Cajun Cookery for heaven's sake eat the buffet and try as much as you can.

"Los Banditos" mexican restaurant, Green Bay, Wisconsin, was splendid!
I enjoyed what they call the atmosphere of a Mexican dwelling.
The waiters were very helpful and the prices were reasonable.

  • Tip Rating:
  • Ahh....let's see. I love the Cliff House in San Francisco because it is right there on the edge of the Pacific Ocean.
Absolutely gorgeous views of the waves crashing against Ocean Beach and the ships coming to enter San Francisco Bay. Sometimes on a Saturday you can see a wedding ceremony taking place outside on the lower level!

My favorite item is the Garlic Prawns. Butterflied and served on a bed of rice pilaf with some fresh baked sourdough bread (the one thing I ALWAYS miss when I leave California). I have had salmon and scallops there as well. Their coffee is superb and their desserts are decadent.
