Well, I have a few, lol!!! Chili's, Friday's, Red Lobster, Golden Corral, The Outback, Uncle Hulios, to name a few!!!I like these restaurants because the food is delicious, the service, usually good and the price fair Well depends on the mood I'm in ... Friday's it's always Jack Daniels something, ribs, salmon, chiken or all of the above, Red Lobster, but of course, red lobster, shrimp and crabs, and the works!!!, Gold Corral is a Buffet so a little of this and a little of that they have EVERYTHING AND IT ALL TASTES GREAT!!! The Outback, hot wings or steaks with the blooming onion, Uncle Hulios - the combination fajita, with the steak, chicken and shrimp, delicious!!!

Blue Moose Bar and Grill: Blue Moose Bar and Grill

by rjer311

The prices are extremely reasonable, and the children's plates are big enough that a full grown man could walk away from eating one of these and be completely satisfied. Otherwise, the atmosphere is one that invokes images of a rustic, Alaskan logging camphouse but with all of the amenities. Almost anything on the menu is worth tasting at least once. The food specializes in American West with a definite flavor for Scandanavian and Canadian food--probably because of its location close to the northern border.

Use a travel guide, but many of the best restaurants you will only find by noting all of the local cars in the parking lot. Nearly every area has food unique to that area which is very good (even though you may not like that type of food). Just about anything perfecly prepared.

My favorite restaurant is ...boy that's a hard one! I would have to pick...no, no it's too hard. I like Casa Rio and Rio Rio in San Antonio. There's a little place on I-10 in Orange Texas(between the Lousiana state line and Houston) called The Cajun Cookery that has a glutunous buffet on the weekend. BBQ crab! It's a great place to stop if you're traveling Interstate 10. I quess I like the ambiance of the restaurants on the Riverwalk in San Antonio. It's so romantic-espcially in the evening. Dining by candlelight by a slow moving river while gondolas slide by with their passengers...it's like a combination of Venice, Paris, and Mexico City. It's great for people watching. Or popping the question. Spanish quitars and Texas stars. Yes, it's one of my favorite places! Casa Rio order the combination plate and enjoy guacamole made fresh at your table.Rio Rio order the fajitas and be prepared...

There is a great family owned neighborhood mexican restaurant in Murray, Utah. The restaurant in called Restaurant Morelia it is located at 6098 S. State Street. It is a samll restuarant and a popular restuarant, so arriving early or late of normal lunch or dinner times might help you avoid a wait. They don't take reservations. In the summer there is covered patio seating. The most expensive item on the menu is $9.50. They are open Monday thru Thursday 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. closed Sundays. Anything with chile verde is wonderful. Some of their specialties include Chalupas, Quesadilla Morelia, or the Super Burrito stuffed with chille Relleno. I have yet to eat anying on the menu that wasn't good. The salsa is made daily and is to die for.

I do not have any specific restaurants to name, but if you like authentic Mexican food, well...New Mexico is the state. Not only are there many Mexican restaurant that offer an assortment of dishes, but the local markets have all the flavor of Mexico. Be sure to inquire if the restaurant take credit cards! Some small places want cash only.

It would have to be the Fish Market in San Diego, CA.All of their pasta is made fresh daily on the premises. All of their vegtables are grown by one farm, and all are organically grown. In the upstairs dining area you can eat at the bar and watch the various chefs work their magic. Appetizer: Lemon-peppered scallops with Shiitake mushroom sauce.Main course: the mesquite grilled yellow-fin tuna.Wine: either the Raymond Cabernet Sauvignon or the Blackstone Merlot.

If you are a meat eater, travel to Wolf Lodge Inn, located approx. 15 miles east of Coeur 'd Alene, Idaho for the best sirloin steak ever. It is cooked over a cherry wood open pit fire by expert western chefs. I've eaten steak all over the US and haven't found anything to top this. This old lodge looks like something right out of the 1800's--lodge pine walls, fireplaces, old saddles, traps, wild game trophies, etc. Very 'authentic' atmosphere for the best sirloin steak around! The 'Cowboy'--a 20 ounce sirloin steak; cook it medium rare for the juiciest taste and best flavor.

Ahh....let's see. I love the Cliff House in San Francisco because it is right there on the edge of the Pacific Ocean. Absolutely gorgeous views of the waves crashing against Ocean Beach and the ships coming to enter San Francisco Bay. Sometimes on a Saturday you can see a wedding ceremony taking place outside on the lower level! My favorite item is the Garlic Prawns. Butterflied and served on a bed of rice pilaf with some fresh baked sourdough bread (the one thing I ALWAYS miss when I leave California). I have had salmon and scallops there as well. Their coffee is superb and their desserts are decadent.

by bohemio1

Tyler, TX: El Guanajuato, Taqueria El Lugar, La Favorita Taqueria, La Azteca. Dallas: Taqueria Chano's (Estilo Jalisco), Taqueria Pinocho, La Michoacana to name a few.spicy food, a choice of hot sauces, informal atmosphere, low price, a tejano juke box. My favorite restaurants usually serve tacos al pastor, a dish which strangely is virtually unknown outside of Hispanic neighborhoods in Texas. I like my tacos with tripas well-done and half-and-half with refried beans, topped with onions and cilantro. Somebody from East Dallas told me to get beans in tripas tacos and he was right. But there's nothing like a good ol' fashioned cheeseburger that says estadosunidense better. And I like mine with all the vegetables, mustard, no mayo, Louisiana hot sauce, and jalapenos.
