Restaurant Hotel L'Ile de France: A real French Brasserie

by DesertRat Written Aug 28, 2004

The restaurant in the hotel is cozy and inviting with lots of brass, wood paneling, and marble-topped tables, which lend it a decidedly Gallic feel -- as one expects in France, after all..

Favorite Dish: It's very hard to go wrong here! The Quiche Lorraine was positively superb.

Restaurant L'Escale: Pizza in French Village in the North Atlantic? Yep

by BigBlueOne Written Jun 24, 2012

The interior of the restaurant was very nicely done. And, as is the case with all of the restaurants we went to in St. Pierre, the food was excellent.

Favorite Dish: The menu is primarily French cuisine but we went with the pizza for lunch to get a change of pace. The crust was flaky, almost crescent-like, and assisted the pizza in being fantastic. We were able to get a pizza for two and a carafe of wine for about 24 euros. Well worth it.
