These are havens for adolescents who do the "mall crawl." This is the opposite sex. You will also instantly recognize those who are there without their parents as they are the ones dressed completely inappropriately for public. The girls will have especially gawdy make up on and way too much cheap perfume. Department stores, movie theaters, electronics, toy stores, specialty boutiques, and fast food shops are generally found at the malls. The largest mall in the United States (a constantly changing title) is The Mall of America in Minnesota with 4.2-million square feet (about 100 acres) of floor space. It was completed in 1992 at a cost of $635-million. It contains over 400 stores on three floors and has 2.3 miles of primary corridors. The fourth floor is an entertainment district, with restaurants, movie theaters, and night clubs. Occupying the center court is Camp Snoopy, a full-scale amusement park with a roller coaster and 20 where teenagers go to be seen, but pretend they are not there to be seen. You will recognize them as they giggle and walk really slow, but talk really loud to get the attention of other rides. The mall attracts more than 40-million shoppers per year, who spend an estimated $1-billion annually. Leave a Comment Theme: Other
