located on bank street in the old decatur historic district is the blue and grey museum. this museum has one of the largest privately held collections of civil war relics in america. for those interested in civil war history the blue and grey museum is well worth a stop when in decatur.

the albany historic district is located between the old decatur historic district and downtown. the albany historic district is listed on the national register of historic places and has the largest collection of victorian era craftsmen and bungalow homes in the state of alabama. for those interested in victorian achitecture the albany hsitoric district is well worth a visit when in decatur.

the morgan county confederate civil war memorial is located next to the morgan county courthouse in downtown decatur. the memorial is a standing solder motif which is common in the south.
