Local artists - some known nationally - have various art on display. The museum is continually growing and addind art. They have local contests with various ages of children and youths each year. Our children have won several awards for their exhibits.

Concerts and exhibits at the Dothan Civic Center
We have attended several concerts here. Our favorites were Point of Grace and Ray Boltz. Several other shows and annual exhibits are booked here year round.

Leon's and Dobbs Barbeque are our other favorite restaurants.
Casual...casual...casual. Locals eat here, so expect jeans, shorts, t-shirts, etc. No need to dress up.

Favorite Dish: Leon's has an all-you-can-eat seafood buffet on Friday and Saturday nights. Dobbs has great homemade barbeque and country-fried steaks all the time. Both are locally owned and operated and are not chain restaurants.

Favorite thing: i lived here too. this is a fast growing town that has a lot of new things and transient southerners. the people who live here are from all over the south and some business men move ther from the mid-west

Fondest memory: for kids water-world and a new 'playground'. if you are slow, be careful, they will run you over.
