The food was at best okay. It was nothing to make your mouth salivate, or have your tummy feel satisfied, but is staple food. They have sandwiches, and feature Cajun items, but also will serve steak, fish, and other items. Service is merely there, and not too interested in pleasing you
Favorite Dish: The Po Boy was what we had, so call it the favorite?
The food was all homemade by locals that knew how to cook that down home tradition. They had it all fresh and tasty. The vegetables had been infused with bacon, or pork for flavor enrichment, and all the meats were great; chicken, pork, ham, beef stew, fish, etc.
The price was $9 that included a drink.
Favorite Dish: The fired chicken on the buffet was outstanding, but also the simmered beef in sauce, and the breaded pork chop were just as good. Pecan pie stood out for the finish
