If you came to Huntsville on purpose, and you're not here to visit somebody specific, you're probably (a few bolts short of a rocket) here to see the Space and Rocket Center. This is huntsville's main tourist trap, and it has a decent amount of stuff. There's a moonrock, a piece of skylab, several rockets, and lots of models, even a moon crater complete with moon grass.

Unique Suggestions: If you've dreamed about NASA every night since you were 3, you will probably be glad you came. Otherwise, I wouldn't waste much money on this one. If you want a taste of it, you can get in free after at 4 (it closes at 5).

A lot of the cool exhibits i remember as a kid aren't there any more, although there are a few left. It's turned into an amusement park now. On the bright side, though, there are the rides.

Fun Alternatives: Alternatives? Go hiking. Monte Sano SP and all the land trust have some good trails.
