1860 covered bridge

Un. of West Alabama, Covered bridge on campus, old civil war homes, surrender site of Gen. Nathan B. Forrest, Courthouse, and downtown area.
Small hometown feeling, nice people, nice area, almost crime free, Tombigbee/Tenn. river waterway, college life.

Any local church, most are old well kept churches, some new. The county court house, downtown area, University of West Alabama (founded 1835 by Julia Tutwiler), the surrender site of Confederate Gen. Nathan B. Forrest, and grave sites of famous jazz singers.
