    Visit historic Fort Gaines on Dauphin Island. This fort was used during the American Revolution, during the Civil War, and during WW II.

    4th of July fireworks

    On the Cooper Riverside Park, right next to the convention center.

    Band plays music before and during the fireworks. Arrive early, parking is not limited but slow.

    Spans the Mobile River. Quite a sight from the deck of the USS Alabama.

    The bridge has received many awards over the years for its excellence in design and engineering achievements.

    There are many statues in the park including one of Queen Isabella which was originally an exhibit from the 1964-65 New York World's Fair. This wasn't her.
