Nestled in the foothills of the Applachian mountains, this scenic town was also the epicenter of the US civil rights movement in the 1960's.

Cross New Orleans with Alabama and add in a little Gulf Coast Hospitality and you have Mobile. Historic and beautiful city and in my opinion the best tourist destination in Alabama.

Huntsville is a tech oasis in what is not considered to be a very progressive state. It's home to the Nasa Marshall Flight Center, Space Camp and the US Army Aviation and Missile Command.

Archeological sight of early native American site. The site also has a very small museum. It's worth a stop if you are driving past but not worth going out of the way for.
