How to Get there From Anchorage:
Take the Glenn Highway North to the Eagle River Loop Rd Exit. When you exit, you will immediately come to a traffic light. Continue on straight, cross the bridge and go straight through one more light. At the third traffic light, you have reached the Eagle River Road. Make a right and follow the road to the end, 12 miles, the Nature Center is at the end of the road.
Equipment: Bring good shoes and a overcoat for those Alaska breezes! In the heat of August, you might want to wear shorts!
