    Everyone be safe on your drive to Eagle River, residents drive like they are all intoxicated and afflicted with a huge lead foot. Please drive in the slow lane, the middle and left are for people with high insurance rates. Also, there is only ONE road to Eagle River (Glynn Highway), so if there is an accident- expect long traffic delays.

    Old Seward vs. New Seward

    Don't get the Old Seward Highway and the New Seward Highway confused! As it's name betrays, the Old Seward Highway is the older version of the path up north, it's a beautiful drive, but dark and windy in the winter. The New Seward Highway is the fast modern laned highway.
