I like to get some fruit, but you might prefer potato chips, and don't forget ice cream! Yummy.
The mechantile is the town market, and carries a wide variety of goods for everyday use as well as some gifts.
The prices here are probably not as cheap as home, but less than at the resort. Leave a Comment

You can buy stamps and mail your postcards at the Post Office.
Girdwood is scheduled to get a new Post Office, so it might not look like it does in this picture.
When I got back to work, I found out that they are looking for another person. I'm thinking about it, but I do love Kodiak.

The post office is also good if you want to send some of your souveniers home. Especially that ULU you bought in Anchorage. They won't let you on a plane with that thing. So lighten your load, and mail the goods home.
And since you've been buying Alaska themed clothing, mail your dirty laundry also, just put it in a plastic bag first (haha).
