Favorite thing: This is the view you will have of Haines when coming down from the ship (if you arrive on a cruise ship, which is about the only easy way to get there!) and walking towards the town through the bridge.... It's pretty neat! Feels like entering a different, small world.....

Favorite thing: I was hoping to visit the Eagle Foundation and the Hammer Museum, however those places weren't open until June 1st. So if you're wanting to visit those places, as well as the Sheldon Jackson Museum, plan your trip for after the Memorial Day weekend...unless you just want to go for the Beer Festival!!!
