Sawdust on floors, old west saloon swinging doors. Very popular and crowded. Have heard great reviews and I have to remember to stop by when I'm in juneau
Favorite Dish: Have not eaten there, but I will edit this when I do
There will be lots of other great restaurants, but for me, who was living and working on cruise-ships for several years, 'my' ship is always the best...
...and in case of M/S Sagafjord - she was rated by 'Fieldings guide to woldwide cruises' *****+ and she was the only ship beside her sistership M/S Vistafjord who got the very best rating 5-Star+ at that time.
Nice atmosphere, good service, and located right on the water.
Favorite Dish: We ate here nearly every day! The salmon is killer, as is everything else we tried here. I loved the coconut salmon strips, the twisted fish tacos, the halibut fillet, and the alaska salmon fillet.
GOOD BURGERS IN THE RED DOG SALOON(JUNEAU),
Cheap beer in the lucky lady
RED DOG WAS QUITE EXPENSIVE, GO FOR A DRINK BUT EAT ELSEWHERE.
Favorite Dish: NOTHING COMPARES TO THE TASTE OF FRESHLY CAUGHT ALASKAN KING SALMON, ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE CAUGHT IT YOURSELF ON ONE OF THE LOCAL FISHING TOURS.
There is a restaurant called the Red Dog Saloon. It is a fun place to sit and relax.
It is expensive. Beers are like $4.50.
Favorite Dish: the Texas hamburger. They served a huge hamburger that is almost impossible to finish.. One-fourth could feed one person.
-The Fiddlehead Restaurant
-The Tex-Mex Restaurant
-Try the Red Dog Salon for a beer and some life Music
Try whale watching !
Favorite Dish: Pasta Greta Garbo at the Fiddlehead and nice garlic rolls at the TexMex.
Yup, it's just a shack, but what amazing food.
Favorite Dish: Crab Bisque - Apparently they are nationally ranked for this - but who cares - it's just amazing.
Bullwinkle's Pizzeria. Great place!
I thought the appetizer or popped popcorn was great, and there were games and stuff to play while waiting. Great pizza
Favorite Dish: Pizza with an appetizer of popcorn :)))
