This picture isn't taken at night time but along the Kenai Spur Highway you can see Moose but you have to watching for them as they are quite often in the ditch along side the road! It is also a dangerous time for driving as the moose don't watch for the cars and quite often get killed by cars and trucks. Also people get killed in these accidents too! We saw quite a few moose on the couple of nights that we went out looking for them. The kids where quite excited because we don't have moose in Kodiak where we are from.

Good bars change with the time of year, cab drivers will give you a good idea of whats available. There is a small/nice bar upstairs in the airport also.
