    Saxman is more popular, but Totem Bight, although a little bit farther, is much much nicer. More poles, great views of the sea and a nice beach.

    Ketchikan has one of the largest array of totem poles in the Alaskan area. Walk around the streets or g oto the Totem Pole Displays, they're everywhere in Ketchikan.

    Here you can see where Ketchikan Creek comes down some falls. There is a fish ladder alongside the creek. This is just a short ways from the historic walk along Creek Street.

    A walk along historic Creek Street in Ketchikan Alaska is always interesting. Many of the buildings are businesses these days, mostly catering to tourism. A few people live in the area.

    Near Deer Mountain Tribal Hatchery is the City Park where a stream winds through with a nice bridge and fountain where kids love to jump around and have a grand old time. People picnic and play.
