You haven't been to Kodiak until you've been "Mecca-nized". Two Bars, live music, dance floor. It is the Saturday night hot spot.
Dress Code: Dress for success. If you just want to get drunk, wear anything, but if you want to make a connection, then slick back your hair and put on your dancing shoes.
You're at the Mecca. If you are a Coast Guard boy, don't mess with the local's girlfriend. If you are a local, watch out for those coasties. If you are a tourist, Boy! Aren't you surprised.
Welcome to Kodiak's infamous Mecca, the place were men are men and the women are all out trolling. Pull up a stool and bounce to last year's popular dance mix.

Coastie 30+: Southern shirt with tight jeans.
Coastie 30-: Baggy pants with sweater.
Fisherman: Torn sweater with carrharts.
