mmmm...they look to tasty and fresh and juicy and sweet and berry like. Oooh, I wonder if they taste more like raspberries or boysenberries. ...it's neither. I'd compare them to a cross between gooseberries and rhubarb. heh.
Unique Suggestions: Try a few then leave the rest on the branches along with the spiderwebs, maggot like worms, and catapillars. Oh, and i've pee'd on a good number of bushes.
Fun Alternatives: Safeway produce aisle.
The deck set up to view salmon spawning just before town is all phoney. The fish are brought there from Solomon Gultch Hatchery to be implanted at that spot and so return later as adults. The "stream" leading to the "spawning" area was dug out with machinery.
Unique Suggestions: It's still a nice little information center but it is not natural. Stop by to read, learn and look at their displays inside.
Fun Alternatives: check out the fish in the many side streams crossing the main road on the way to town. Later in the season, fish make it up quiet far up some of those little streams.
