Wasilla has long be considered Alaska's playground. Here you can hike, ski, sled..dog and machine, rock climb, fish, golf, pick berries, flight see, glide.. etc I love it here. Imagine all of this activity right in your back yard. *****I will post pictures and update with more information soon*****

This is a basic cafe except that it has a large computer room and has gamer groups on designated nights. Last time I was there coffee is the menu. They also build custom pc's. People are very friendly

La Fiesta uno in Palmer and La fiesta dos in Wasilla.
Chepos is okay but i worked @ la fiesta and i know whats better.
Plus Chepos puts vegitables in the mexican rice and i like it plain..much better.
down to earth real waiters and waitresses, friendly, and more comforable.

Favorite Dish: cheese enchilada, chicken chimichanga (comes with rice & beans) with a coke (pepsi now?)

Not much to do at night but go bowling or shoot some pool...if your 21 and older ...lots of bars that stay open all night ( 5 am?), unlike in Anchorage. I know people come out after the party in Anchorage and head out to the valley to continue drinking.

Drive , rent a car from Anchorage and it takes 45 minutes to get there..avoid the commute during rush hours. Take Glenn Highway via Parks Highway to get to Wasilla.
Drive, walk if your staying at a hotel nearby in town.

Well, Unlike Anchorage, the roads are mostly 2 lanes and if you never drivin in Alaska..you might want to observe the passing on the right if a car is turning left..we do it all the time (sometimes the cops do it!!!) but its still illegal but everyone does it. If you like to ait it might anger the rest of the cars piled up behind you. Traffic can be hetic at times when trying to make lefts...we dont have many tourist traps out here..
