The food is not the reason to show up here, I am guessing as a tourist who knows a good meal when I find one. This food was prepared ahead of time for the burgers, and they were cold. the plate and fries were equally unattractive and not that good. Price was $9 for a burger. Then I heard that the chili is why people come to eat here. I will not be trying that most likely, given the distance and chance will not get back here.

Favorite Dish: WE had the burgers-and they were dry and tastless to be sure

This is a sit down restaurant, but a large patio with a dance floor draws a lot of locals out here to have a good time and drink beer. The fried chicken was the specialty, but my was it pricey for what you get. The one piece is $8 and to get a half chicken is costs $10.25. Burgers(small) are $7-8.
They call themselves a roadhouse, because it is along the road?

Favorite Dish: The fried chicken was the thing to get, and it was roasted very good. Sides of fires and beans were a compliment

Red Sage: Decent Food, Decent Price

by Hermanater Written Nov 22, 2005

This place seems in an out of the way place in Gold Canyon. When we were there, the place was packed. The food was very good and the wait was about avearge. The menu had the typical American food and reasonable prices. I would not hesitate to eat there again.

This tip is also inmy Pheonix pages......

Favorite Dish: Everything was good that we ordered.
