inex pensive way to see the river, davis dam and casino row in laughlin.
$10 for adults and $5 for under 12
a well narrated 1 1/2 hr cruise on the river. lots of history and factual information on the area.
was lots of fun for the kids.
what a beautiful boat.

And absolutely MUST go to BHC, then here are my pointers:
1. the nearby Haulapai Mountains are BEAUTIFUL...if you are able to ~ go there! it snows in the winter time, and it's a high enough elevation that there are pine trees, and it even gets cool there in the summer. Good hiking, deer, and fresh clean air.
2. if you like to boat, it is right on the colorado river, so tons of tourists love it! (I happen to not like baking in the sun for hours on end) Nonetheless, if you are a jet ski, boat person, there is TONS of that.

do NOT try to kayak or raft on the river on a busy holiday. There are so many jet skiiers on there that you are likely to get run over!

I saw some people doing it and they looked really happy...but super drunk. So from that I gather that you must be really intoxicated to try it...or just do it on another weekend...or be content yelling & waving frantically every time you see an eight yr. old on a jet ski barreling down at you 50mph!!!
