If you have never visited wholefoods this is a great food shop but if you do a full shop it will be expensive. Great foods, ranging from organic, to specialized shopping eg gluten free or any other special diet.
Kids can join the kids club and get a free snack every time they go into the store.
They also have special events for kids and for adults such as cooking demos.
What to buy: Great food. Also a great range of ready prepared food which you can either eat in store or take home.
What to pay: more expensive than average

Farmers market: Downtown Chandler Thursdays
Downtown Chandler has its very own farmers market on a Thursday afternoon from 3pm-7pm. There is talk this will change in the height of summer. We love this place, if you have been there and not been lately it is worth a revisit has it has really grown in recent months. On one side there are the food vendors which includes fresh produce (including organic farmers), freshly made breads and other baked stuff. Salsas, hummus, honey, olive oils and lots more.
On the other side are the crafters and other merchandise. Hand crafts include pottery, cushions, jewelery, soaps to name a few. Other stuff includes things for pets and children. Sometimes there is a story teller for the kids (me) or a life band.
Every one is really friendly. My kids also enjoys playing in Dr AJ Chandler park.
What to buy: what ever takes your fancu, fresh produce and books
