The place is usually pretty full and the waitresses are slow to serve, but expect it and relax. Have a lemonade and eat some chips and watch all the families enjoying their time together. I love their carne asada and some of the soups, but beware of the mass quantities of cheese in them. Also, their chimichangas are big enough for a MANLY man. If you feel like splitting, there is a dish that is popular in this area that is basically a buffet platter for two or more of beef, chicken, veggies, tortillas, beans, rice, ...... it is very large here and looks very fresh and delicious. Someday when I'm extra hungry.
I love the carne asada- chargrilled marinated steak tacos with shredded cabbage and lime. Maybe order a side of guac (it's a good buy) and you will be in heaven. You come in on G, follow it down to 8th, turn left and go about a block and park. It is on the left. They're open to about 10 just about every night.
