We have never had a bad sushi experience there and have been many many times.
Try the sumo roll...a friend of ours made it up. It's a jumbo roll with a big piece of ahi tuna, tempura shrimp, japanese carrot, mango, and avacado, it's wrapped in rice and rolled in poppy seed. Sakura also serves good sushi, although it isn't the best in town. It's a fun place to go with a group of people, though reservations are suggested!

Again, I'm not just saying this because I work there, but San Felipe's has the best fish tacos ever... I know it sounds gross, but they are actually quite good. If you make in there, you have to at least give it a try!!
My personal favorite are the surf and turf tacos which comes with steak and shrimp with pico de gallo, lettuce, and baja sauce (the key ingredient!) wrapped in a flour tortilla...muy bueno!! A forary back in time to the 1950's when life was simple. There is a juke box but alas no table top box to slip a quarter in for 2 plays. You can however, sidle up to the jukebox and make your request that way. Alas the tunes are not on records but CD. Oh well, at least they had a large selection from which to choose. The tables are white formica and the seats red leather. The waitresses are dressed in 1950's garb and the only thing that was missing was the car hops on roller skates and the drive in parking lot dining. Galaxy is a chain with 4 more locations in Utah.
I think this diner has the best waffles in this country. Crisp and light they add a hint of malt to their batter and these waffles cook up perfect everytime. Everyone enjoyed the food so really you cannot go wrong with all that is on the menu. We were just too stuffed to have dessert. It was at best, okay. I had spaghetti and meatballs as a tradition try to sample Italian fare. It was loaded with pasta, and the sauce was good. The meatballs has little taste. The place has evolved into and quick in and out eatery for locals, mostly for Mexican families. The night I was there, they charged $10 -not me though if I promised to eat and get out quick- for the cage fighting on TC. Whole families come here, apparently and are glued to the TV to see the fight and blood.
The spaghetti was $10, and steaks $15-20 range, with burgers at $7-8. They are open 11-1AM and it really is half sports bar with drinking rather than eating clientele.
Since meatballs was was I ate, this is it. They had all the standard Italian items to choose from, but also featured a lot of burgers, and steaks, and chops and whatever else you may desire.
