The Meteor Crater.... yes, I think you should see this, but at the same time you'll be paying a good deal of money to see it! You'll have to deal with tourists and such... at any rate, it can be kind of touristy, I'm sorry to say. But again, it's not THAT bad if you compare it to other tourists places. Leave a Comment

All of Flagstaff -- this area is much like Alaska, it's remote and at 7000 feet, many goods are expensive to position and stock. BRING $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$, you'll need them. If you can buy fuel, film and supplies in PHX or KINGMAN or Albuquerque B4 arriving in FLAGSTAFF. Leave a Comment

by silvia-m.b This is a very dangerous 'tourist trap' specially for tourists that come from Europe. The place is call 'ROSS' a big store with thousand kinds of clothes. CHEAP in relation to Europe.... CK Jeans only for 24.99, Ralph Lauren Jeans for 29.99, bra Guess 5.99, panties Guess 2.99, shoes Ralph Lauren 19.99 !!!!!!!!! (Tax not include, around 7.3100%)Oh my God this Store was my ruin!!!!!!!! More than 200$ spend in only this place! Are you sure that do you want address? Ross, dress for less. check www.rossstores.com I recommend you SINCERELY only visit the Flagstaff Visitor's Center if you estimate your money...this is similar to Las Vegas!!!! :-( Leave a Comment

About 50,000 years ago, a meteor crashed into the earth and left this crater. You can't climb in and walk around the inside of the crater, but for $10 you can walk around the crater. If you're that interested in seeing a big hole in the ground, continue driving north to the Grand Canyon.
The Grand Canyon. Or, more locally, Sunset Crater Volcanic National Monument or one of hiking trails in the area. Leave a Comment

Yes it's a BIG hole!!! Don't throw big bucks into it.
You could learn something about meteors there.
